Reflections on High
Designed and built for the City of Wodonga, High Street, 2008/2009
The brief by David Engwicht (‘Placemaker’) was to create a semi permanent 25 meter long (90 m2) exhibition display space with seats, to cover an ugly cement wall. We had eight weeks to construct our approved design, and 12 days to install it. It was completed on time, and on budget. Six years on, the wall is as new, and is regularly showing exhibitions. Inspired by the local environment and designed as a celebration of community.
